Au Comptoir Nippon: the circus

• 8 Jun, 2010 • Catégorie: Restaurant

Au Comptoir Nippon, the teppanyaki « cooking on the iron plate » comes with a kitchen show where vegetables do somersaults, cooks juggle with tofu, and improvised salt and pepper shakers. The dishes fly and land directly in your plate or in your mouth. Elegantly dressed with a apron loan by the house, take the risk a prawn runs away from your plate!
Although conventional tempura, sushi, maki and sashimi are always attractive, the fusion menu and the duck crepes with barbecue sauce and warm lobster sushi attract the curious visitors. The fois gras spring rolls is also an attraction. The whole Japanese tradition shines in this small restaurant without being a cliché. A must-go for a culinary experience of another culture.

Menus from 26.50€.
