BLC Design Hotel: feminine design
• 16 Dec, 2009 • Catégorie: One hotel a day, Paris •A year after the opening of the Design Color Hotel http://news-e.hoosta.com/color-design-hotel-rainbow-hotel-in-paris/ , Jean Marc Galabert opens the fourth hotel in Paris, in the 11th arrondissement. Refined decor, zen atmosphere, white polar, the BLC Design Hotel is dedicated to women. Designed by Carole Picard (designer of the Hotel du Chat Noir), the virgin areas are enhanced by subtle lighting effects that give life to this almost surgical environment.

Opened on September 2009, the BLC Design Hotel offers 29 rooms equipped with the latest technology in decorative lighting as Nightcove by Patrick Jouin to spread light and sound or the drawers built under the beds, not to be bothered by some large closets. Other surprises at this address, the breakfast-lunch open space, opened on the lobby and the street, the water fountain, the vending machine of vintage glass wines or the lamps Puff by Puff Puff, unique and truly “inflated”!

We are touched by the photos on the corridor’s walls and rooms at BLC Design Hotel. The monochroms tinted of blue and green of the artist Lise Laure Batifol tell stories of the universal passing time, a little girl becomes a woman, a woman who reveals and ages. Here, no doubt, the feminine design is that the woman is the future of the man.

Rates: 175€ double room, 205€ deluxe twin room (varies according to time).
