Hidden in the wine-producing hills of Valpocille, the Byblos Art Hotel Amitsà is like a vanguard jewel. With its subtle mix of baroque and modern art, this antique Venetian villa has become a great place baring a hybrid and fascinating classicism. Brought back to life by the know-how of Alessandro Mendini, this architectural wonder has gone out of its torpor and is now embodying a joyful blend of tradition and invention.

Dominated by a majestic Venetian ceiling light, the hall gives a peak to the colors, through a profusion of eccentric and unusual tints. The baroque style responds to a ultramodern pop decoration, both in the sign of high technology. Wall paintings and life-sized photographs cover a surface inhabited by curved and geometric furniture.
