Nicknamed “The Venise of the North”, Bruges is a city made for lovers! For an impromptu weekend, opt for the historic city center where we just find for you a former 15th century convent converted into a luxury boutique hotel: The Orangerie. Overlooking the picturesque “Den Dyver” canal, the hotel enjoys an ideal location to visit the many cultural places of the city, such as the Belfry of Bruges, the Basilica of the Holy Blood and the Choco-Story Museum.

While the Valentine’s Day will fulfill the heart of all lovers soon, don’t forget to book your 2 nights package, suggested by the hotel until February 19th. The deal includes a bunch of roses on arrival, a glass of champagne offered at the bar, a champagne breakfast served on bed, a romantic dinner in the Orangerie restaurant, a ride in a horse-drawn carriage in Bruges. Allow between €550 for a Luxe Room, and €700 for the Junior Suite, which has a sublime view over the Canal. And, if the weather is good you could have a ride in a boat on the canal.

We don’t talk enough about jaunt with friends… While we never forget them, as in The Hangover. There is no better destination than Berlin for that kind of holidays. This is the most cultural and artistic city of Europe, with its 165 museums, 60 theaters, and its crowd of artists and young. On this occasion, the editorial staff has chosen an arty hotel, with a modern architecture, settled in the heart of the German capital, the Michelberger Hotel.

First, Tom Michelberger, the owner, wanted building a huge flat to welcome all his friends. His idea has grew up and the hotel has opened its doors in 2009. The world famous designer Werner Aisslinger took care of the minimalist and fanciful decoration, according to the hundred arty items and books that accessorize rooms. We find them from couches to ceiling lights. The 119 rooms are sunny and airy. Thanks to the high ceilings, spaces are cleverly organized. Thus, it’s usual to find the bed secure by a net, and settled over the bathroom!

For funny nights, the lobby-bar is spacious and quite intimist, ideal to drink with your friends. You can even take music instruments and organize your own private concert. You can also reach the Whiskey Room, accessible by a secret door, perfect for private conversation, a poker party, and other activities worthy of a glass of whiskey. Call your best friends and be ready for a crazy Berliner trip.

The Big Bonus: The hotel has rooms for 6 persons (for those who can’t leave their friends at all). The hotel is perfectly located: the famous East Side Gallery is just 5 minutes away while the O2 World Arena is only 500m away, to watch the best ice hockey or basketball matches.

Prices: From €60 the Cosy Room, up to €220 for the Big One.

Hoosta Mag loves Winter, because it means Mountains Holidays! While the season is in a full swing, the editorial staff has decided to lead you in Austria. The Streif is one of the Mount Hahnenkamm’s slopes, the most famous one in Western Europe! So, we’d need to found a hotel great enough, and above all close from these snow slopes. And we’ve succeeded, let me introduce you the minimalist hotel Kitzhof, located in the heart of Austrian Alps.

Halfway between modernity and tradition, its 163 rooms have a minimalist mountain style. It’s easily visible through old light panelings, glass and loden adorned by the leather of armchair, the fur of carpets and by the cushions and bedspread bright colored. Elegant and cozy, this decor invites us to a relax time, well-deserved after a long day spent on the Austrian slopes. At Hoosta, we go wild for the precision of details, even cushions have proud reindeer patterns.

Well-being becomes greedy, with the two restaurants at your disposal. The Kitz Alm has dishes typically Tyrolean. While chefs Michael Stadler and Martin Reiter prepare local and internationals specialties. Don’t hesitate to stop at the Vinothèque for a tasting, is worth the detour! Design hotel, sublime snow slopes, and mulled wine, that, is the Winter paradise!
