At World’s End, Feet in the Water!

If there is a retreat at world’s end, far away from the urban excitement, but with all the comforts of an ultramodern place it is definitely in Mexico. Just like the Journey to the Center of the Earth movie, after having crossed a long gallery of 985 foots, carved into the mountains along the Gulf of Cortez at the peninsula tip between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas, you will enter the new world. When leaving the tunnel, you discover an idyllic resort, melted between the legendaries mountains Land’s End and a gorgeous private beach, the exact location where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. Like a real village, the place has 18 family casonas, 30 beautiful villas and a hotel with 66 rooms. Arbors, lattice fences, private infinity pool, patios and traditional terraces, local materials and textiles for interiors, the three designers and architects (Paul Duesing, Nunzio Desantis and Chuck McDaniel) were strongly inspired by the landscape to produce this setting quite unique.
