The latest creation of the design hotel group “Firmdale Hotels” (SoHo hotel, Charlotte Street hotel) has just opened in a cozy universe, emphasized by the feminine touch of interior designer Kit Kemp (who designed the decoration of all Firmdale hotels). Erected in a style that’s representative of the chic, classical and elegant Manhattan, the Crosby Street Hotel radiates freshness and modernity, with its style that combines Art Deco, ancient objects and new technologies. Its sophisticated look alternates original and varied colors and textures.

With its 86 roomy suites, including terrace and small garden, the hotel offers you a splendid view on the big apple through its bay-windows. The calm and private garden of the hotel provides a habitat for rare multicolored plant species. The hotel is LEED (Leader in Energy and Environmental Design) certified and is considered the only hotel in the United-States that perfectly managed to match luxury with ecological concern. The hotel also houses several staterooms, a gym (open 24/24), a movie theater and the famous Crosby Bar, well-known for being opened all day long, that offers a varied menu in a colorful setting, and a wide range of traditional tea varieties, served in the tearoom, along with champagne and petits fours.

Every Saturday night, the hotel screens an American cinema classic to accompany the dinner. The hotel’s lounge has long comfortable sofas looking onto the garden, which allows you a moment of tranquility, far away from the agitation of the SoHo area the hotel is located in. Although it’s in a calm alleyway between Prince street and Spring Street, the eleven floors of the Crosby Street Hotel overhang the most exciting galleries in the city, the largest shopping spots and all the fashionable bars, cafés and restaurants. Thanks to its atmosphere that recalls Broadway while preserving a very zen side at the same time, the Crosby Street Hotel inspired filmmaker Jean Roman Seyfried for her film “The Reconstruction of my views”, and some musics of the famous musician and composer Yann Tiersen.
