Pocket art
This hotel revives the Cité Phocéenne, and gives a boost to the local hotel landscape. At Hoosta magazine, we have a weakness for the Panic Room designed by Tilt, an international graffiti personality, native to Toulouse. Street art is also displayed in the hotel rooms, transforming them into disused factories, into big city squats, or into railway tracks, where graffiti and other designs tend to pile up. Here, Tilt uses a lot of bubbles and curve forms reminding us his obsession with the female body. The graffiti is also made in 3D.
A room with a view
Romantic when wanted, the Vieux Panier also counts with a fantastic view of Marseille, its Cathédrale de la Major and its modern tower made by Zaha Hadid. Behind the cloudless blue ski, from the first rays of sun, you can notice the sea, and get a suntan while reading a book. A farniente atmosphere that’s almost everywhere in the hotel, from the common to the sunshiny spaces with a bit of a retro feel that makes us very happy!
