Eastwest Hotel, Geneva: a ultra feminine hotel
• 10 Mar, 2009 • Catégorie: One hotel a day, Switzerland •What may resemble a feminine hotel? This is undoubtedly the question that was raised by Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet, the owners of a former cozy and elegant hotel two steps from the Geneva Lake. In order to response to this question, the two friends have written and directed the Eastwest Hotel, a mixture between East and West, while playing with the shadow and light.

Zen atmosphere, elegance and comfort, the Eastwest Hotel is a hotel of charm and full of character for a worthy stay just like a stay in a private home. The 41 rooms and suites are dressed with dark wood furniture and flooring, shimmering and hot acid colors fabrics (chocolate and pink). The duplex is undoubtedly the best place to stay: large windows overlooking the patio and its wall of streaming water decorated with green color, iridescent color on chairs and cushions (pink, fuchsia, purple). An island of serenity in the heart of the Swiss city.

Japanese and feminine atmosphere can be felt in the restaurant, Le Sens, from the famous Pourcel brothers: lamps in silk, gold and apple red Japanese wallpaper in the kitchen for a “freshness of market” that recalls the origins of the Mediterranean twins. Colors, flavors and aromas are the watchwords of these two gastronomy geniuses. For you to try? Brunch and the bar lounge where a selection of tapas from all around the world and tasty morsels waiting to be devoured (reasonably of course).

Rates: from 320 € per night.
