Everland: an unusual suite on the roof of Palais de Tokyo, Paris

• 8 Oct, 2008 • Catégorie: One hotel a day, Paris

An artwork hotel appears on the roof of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris facing the Eiffel Tower. On several meters above the ground, the Everland 4 star design hotel, offers the urban nomads in search of a new experience, a room for one night only!

Established in 2002 for the Swiss Expo.02, the Everland project of the artists Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann is totally crazy. Placed in height, in incredible places, Everland Hotel is a work of art and a luxurious and ephemeral suite which can be visited the day and rented the night. Until end of August 2009 on the roof of the Palais de Tokyo, the Everland hotel was first set up on stilts over Lake Neuchatel and on the roof of an art gallery in Leipzig. After Paris, nobody knows yet where Everland hotel is expected to arrive …

Shades of blue and green, a free mini-bar, a turntable and a collection of vinyls, a large bay window with no curtain to keep in touch with the city and let the light comes in, golden embroidered towels that you can take with you and the services provided by a 4-star luxury hotel … Everland is a paradise in Paris!

Already fully-booked, it is possible to book the Everland hotel in a very unusual way. Each month, one night stay is auctioned on the website of the hotel. You will need to remain connected and pay 333€ for one night on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and 444€ for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The hotel is closed on Monday.
