The exhibition « Turner et ses peintres » presented at the Grand Palais, tells and illustrates the British painter Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) landscapes vision’s construction. It lumps often for the first time, Turner’s pieces, but also his predecessors’ ones together to whom he often confronted to get better inspirate : Canaletto, Le Lorrain, Rembrandt, Rubens… The retrospective also establishes links with his contemporary painters’ pieces Bonington or Constable. Presented at the Tate Britain of London, then in Paris until May 24th, i twill be exhibit at the Museum of the Prado in Madrid from June to September.
From Friday to Monday from 9 am to 10 pm, on Tuesday from 9 am to 2 pm, on Wenesday from 10 am to 10 pm, on Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm.
