Fellini the Grande Parade at the Jeu de Paume: back on the master of Italian cinema
• 20 Oct, 2009 • Catégorie: Culture •For all lovers of cinema, the fall promises to be Fellini. While the Dolce Vita will soon celebrate its fiftieth anniversary, the major retrospective « Fellini the Grande Parade » at the museum Jeu de Paume (Place de la Concorde) promises rich discoveries on the protean and complex work of an image poet. An exhibition which comes to plural through photographs, drawings and vintage magazines on the workings of an unfettered imagination and dreams. The exhibition is organized around four themes: Fellini and the popular culture, Fellini at work, the City of Women and the place of man, Fellini or the biography invention. One way to address issues dear to the author (music hall, caricature, woman) through the meetings that marked the life of the artist.
