Fresh and tangy renovations at the Hotel Moderne St Germain
• 3 Dec, 2009 • Catégorie: Let's talk about it •The rue des Ecoles has now its contemporary hotel! Hotel Moderne St-Germain has just undergone some refreshing renovations. Exit the traditional and old-fashioned decor, it is now replaced by a more modern spirit in the lobby, the breakfast-lunch and one of the superior rooms. Work will continue in 2010 for a complete renovation of all the rooms, still wearing at the moment the old decor.
We particularly appreciate the breakfast-lunch for the light that enters it. Directly overlooking the street, you can look at the Parisian life from the corner of your eye while sipping a cappuccino and a fresh fruit juice. The room is adorned with a rainbow but discreet light, green and purple, pink and then pastel blue. Basically, there is a giant pink rabbit, arty nod from the director to the Gallery 208 located close to the hotel.
Pending completion, you might stay in the wifi lounge, to read, to surf on the web or simply enjoy a moment of calm in the heart of Paris.
