Hotel Caron: contemporary experience in the Marais

This is not your first visit to Paris? You’ve toured the famous tourist spot? This mini boutique hotel in the Marais is the confidential address that you miss. Tucked between the Place des Vosges and the Place de la Bastille, in a small street, the Hotel Caron is a rare and precious place that wildly attracts the insiders.

Decorated by Anne-Bruguiere Peyroux (former collaborater with Christian Lacroix for hotels Bellechasse and Petit Moulin), Hotel Caron is a cocoon of 18 rooms, which opened its doors the last 17th August. Its decoration is retained and managed, without frills, into the essence. A balance maintained until to the tones selected by the designer: a soft red, a green aniseed, a shimmering gray and beige cream delicate. An ambiance that appeals also to both men and women. Anne sign here an ambiance of the Asian accents, breaking the so Parisian effect of couture Bellechasse or Petit Moulin.

The reception is more likely than the other areas of the hotel, an impression imposed by current colors: black lacquered walls, trinkets and mirrors “Ear sees” of silver Starck. The desk is adorned with a shiny black tile that reminds us of the ambiance of some oriental hammam. Thanks to its location, the hotel staff can recommend with pleasure the best addresses of quarter: restaurants, fashion, and culture with the Pompidou Center from 2 steps away, all that you could dream about holidays in a great capital.

Rates: from 239€ a room with shower and 249€ a room with bath.
