Hotel d’Albe, a well located Parisian pied-a-terre
• 21 Dec, 2009 • Catégorie: One hotel a day, Paris, Romantic •Here is a perfect address for visitors wishing to explore the neighborhood life in Paris. Located between the Saint-Michel fountain, the cathedral Notre-Dame and rue de la Huchette, one of the oldest streets of the Left Bank, with the highest concentration of bars and restaurants of the capital, the Hotel d ‘Albe is a three star contemporary, modern and warm hotel.

Forget the cold and clean design hotel style, here is a colorful and festive place! The 43 rooms of the Hotel d’Albe are beautifully decorated in pearls and feminine colors, with a preference for pink and white. We like the sublime velvet curtains with the acronym of Pierre Frey, the basins of bathrooms by Starck and the custom-made furniture by a firm of architects. The hotel also presents numerous of contemporary paintings found by the general manager.

This artistic and chromatic staging extends to the public areas. The breakfast room opened to the outside, is also one of the favorite places for hotel guests, who seem to like the natural light coming from the street and the views of passersby . An ideal vantage point to decode the Parisian fashion before start conquesting the shops of Saint Germain des Pres, just next door.

Rates: 160€ single room, 240€ junior suite.
