Hotel des Arts: artists’ rooms in San Francisco

Art lovers, pay attention to this little arty and colored treasure in the heart of the French San Francisco district, at the crossroad of Union Square and Financial District, at the entrance of Chinatown. The Hotel des Arts is a direct entrance to the modern artists’ world, famous or not, originally from San Fransisco. It is a hotel where people stay only to admire painted rooms. With reasonable rates, you won’t find a supreme luxury but you will find a bohemian artistic and refreshing atmosphere.

Between the hotel and the gallery, the traveler is invited to immerse himself in the very particular world of crazy artists, sensitive to a special sens of humor. Ladies, let’s have a rendez vous in the most girly room of the building: room 201, realized by Kelly Tunstall, is a trip to the mangas and babydolls’ world, a successful combination between strengh and sensitivity. Room 504, created by Sugarluxe, is an immersion to the sexy and trendy world of the most beautiful ladies of the 21st  century, pretty girls who seem to come from a  Jason Brooks’ jacket for Hed Kandi, the famous house music label.

Gentleman, room 207 (by Alayna) and the cow-girl made in US with blue hair, is an invitation to embrace the country style. More masculine, despite girly colors, room 506 done by Brian Ermanski, is totally tagged. Amazing, this room have an attractive power where you can loose yourself while contemplating, in front of the bed, sit on the floor, trying to understand each detail of this huge fresco.
Obviously, as soon as you enter this travel hotel, you will fall in love and come back.
