Hotel in Cambodia: The Quay sees life in green

The Quay is a minimalist and trendy hotel that embodies the vibrant energy and genuine city of Phnom Penh. An energy that is proved through its involvement in the Carbon Friendly program. Hoosta recommends this green hotel where contemporary elegance rhymes with protection of the environment.

The lobby leads you to an intergalactic journey through a retro-chic decor that has nothing to envy the Fifth Element. Nestled in the white walls, plasma screens play hide and seek while leather Swan chairs by Arne Jacobsen mark a timeless pause. Organic materials distil their subtle colors. Limestone, wooden floor and silk panels invade softly the pure and peaceful area.

The spacious and intimate rooms bathe in natural light through glass walls. On the walls, original teak paneling warms up a cocoon where soothing Minotto beds provide comfort. And although there is private relaxing at the spa of the Hotel, enchanting tastings on the terrace of Chow Restaurant along the Mekong River, this paradise does not lack ecological awareness: passengers are kept alerted in order to limit their energy consumption.
