Hotel Millésime: an excellent vintage in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

There are hotels that do not seem affected by the fever of design and display calmly their patinated elegance by time. The Hotel Millésime is one of them. With only twenty rooms and one suite, the charming three star hotel located in the fashionable rue Jacob, close to the boulevard Saint Germain, is a regal composure. Completely renovated in 2002, it has the happy atmosphere of a Provencal house in central Paris.

Upon the hotel lobbyl, you enter a world turned to the past where antique furniture alongside with deep sofas and a bright red carpet. A patio of ocher tones houses three rooms among the number 15 with a rustic look seems very welcoming. On the 4th floor attic rooms comfortably sized offer an ideal setting to celebrate Christmas in Paris, but the most beautiful of all is the only suite on the top floor of the hotel with stunning views on the Church of Saint-Germain-des-Pres.

Everything in this 17th century house, from the authentic heritage stairs to the vaults of the ancestral hall for breakfast, promises an unforgettable romantic experience. The rich buffet breakfast served until 11 o’clock, privileged access to the jazz club Café Laurent and the package and “Parisian head-to-head” with champagne and cruise on the Seine river is probably one of the best offers of the Left Bank.
