Hoosta Magazine is proud to announce in “avant-premiere” the opening in march 2008 of the Grimsgrenka Hotel, new desing and luxury hotel in Oslo.

First Hotel Grims Grenka is the only design hotel in Oslo and a member of Design Hotels. This five-star urban resort features sensual, colour-schemed accommodation in large deluxe rooms and suites – many larger than 70 m2 – and a range of sleek urban amenities such as an organic tea and cocktail bar and a rooftop lounge.

The hotel is beautifully situated next to the Akershus Fortress, the historical and most urban part of Oslo. It is only three blocks from Karl Johans gate, five minutes from the central station and three minutes from Aker Brygge.

Our Summer Rooms are delicately decorated in green shades and offer views towards the atrium. These are our smallest rooms, but still very spacious with a minimum of 21 sq meters. Our Winter Rooms are decorated in frosty white and blue shades and offer view towards a quiet street. These rooms are minimum 23 sq meters. The bed is from renowned Jensen for your utmost comfort. You will find the bathroom enclosed in frosted glass, with black ceramic flooring, waterfall shower and Oakwood details. Our Garden Suites are 43 sq metre offering views towards the atrium. They are intimately decorated in decadent red and black, accented with gold and plush details in every corner. A long, mirror-lined catwalk takes you to the heart of the room. Here you will find the bathtub in an eye catching position, placed on a stage in the room, with a small, lush garden behind it. The separate shower is enclosed in frosted glass, with natural stones on the floor. The bed is from renowned Jensen for your utmost comfort.
