After the Lungarno Hotel, the Hotel Art Gallery and Lungarno Suites, institutions of luxury and charm of the family Sarragamo add a new “jewel” at their collection : the Continentale.

This hotel opened in January 2003 and enjoys a strategic and unique position in Florence. Installed on your terrace, you will face the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio and thus enjoy an unforgettable sight during your romantic getaway.

Qualified of “Contemporary Pleasing” by its creators, (two adjectives which illustrate perfectly the spirit of the hotel) Continental has many rooms with a terrace overlooking the river or on the rooftops of the city. The nec plus ultra: an incredible penthouse, the Sky Lounge ‘Terrazza dei Consorti’ with a splendid view of the sunset on the Arno.

The hotel offers 43 rooms ultra-design mainly white. The rooms are spacious and offer bed canopies with curtains. Every detail is in its place and reveals a great refinement. The architect Michele Bonan was right with the predominance of white interspersed with a few unexpected touches of pink bubble gum made to evoke the style 50’s and 60’s.

Following the Dolce Vita style in a very contemporary version, the boldest hotels in the family plays Salvatore Ferragamo lighting effects and mobility of furniture. Pictures film in black and white dress virtually the walls of the lobby. An address of elegance and avant-garde, with a concept where all the senses are awakened.
