Luxury Hotel in Stockholm
Par webmaster • 31 Mar, 2008 • CatĂ©gorie: City Cult •Stockholmâs oldest inn overlooks the bay of Brunnsviken. In the mid-1600s, Queen Kristina used to stop at what was then stable-master Ebbe HĂ„kanssonâs farm. Ever since colourful restaurateurs have kept the proud traditions alive. StallmĂ€staregĂ„rden of today is a modern restaurant, hotel, banquet and conference venue â yet retaining the timeless ambiance and traditions of genuine hospitality. The carefully replicated hotel is connected to StallmĂ€staregĂ„rdenâs old buildings. The 49 beautifully decorated hotel rooms contain all modern conveniences and the design is inspired by the Swedish style of the 1700s combined this with the Chinese influences which were common during that time, as the Chinese Castle at Drottningholm and the East Indian Company. The hotel opened up in August 2000.
