Luxury Hotel in Stockholm

Stockholm’s oldest inn overlooks the bay of Brunnsviken. In the mid-1600s, Queen Kristina used to stop at what was then stable-master Ebbe Håkansson’s farm. Ever since colourful restaurateurs have kept the proud traditions alive. Stallmästaregården of today is a modern restaurant, hotel, banquet and conference venue – yet retaining the timeless ambiance and traditions of genuine hospitality. The carefully replicated hotel is connected to Stallmästaregården’s old buildings. The 49 beautifully decorated hotel rooms contain all modern conveniences and the design is inspired by the Swedish style of the 1700s combined this with the Chinese influences which were common during that time, as the Chinese Castle at Drottningholm and the East Indian Company. The hotel opened up in August 2000.

At Stallmästaregården people have come together for a meal or a drink ever since the days of Queen Kristina. Thousands and thousands of guests have enjoyed our traditional venue with a proud history of hospitality and the modern comfort and services of today. We offer a wide variety of facilities and amenities and our aim is to always give the very best service to all our guests.

Stallmästaregården is situated in the Royal Park of Haga, at the shore of the beautiful bay Brunnsviken. When staying here you can enjoy the lovely English park with its famous Butterfly House and the Eco Temple, a perfect area for walks or just hanging out. The city centre of Stockholm is just minutes away, closest to Stallmästaregården is the boho-chic Vasastan area with a multitude of cafés, bars, restaurants, shops, art galleries and nice sights.
