Marriott Champs-Elysées: a successful reconstruction!

• 15 Apr, 2009 • Catégorie: Let's talk about it

The last renovation of the hotel Marriott Champs-Elysees was in 1999. During the last 10 years nothing has changed in this luxury hotel located on the world’s most beautiful avenue. Thanks to GLA Hotels, the Marriott Champs-Elysees will show us at the end of May, the 193 rooms and 3 suites but in a more glamorous way, a way to see the city in its old fashion time. It cost 5 millions of euros; meanwhile the hotel was still opened and full of customers.

What will be different? Hotter and a more cosy atmosphere, woodworks (more than 2km used for renovations!), fake leather, softer lighting, thanks to tiny bed lamps hung to the bed head made of steel colour. Red, colour of the hotel, can be seen on the bed blanket in a silky cloth. There are also more cupboards with a black varnished wooden chest of drawers and a big office which allows the customer to work with a laptop (plugs are hidden for a nicer visual effect).

Bathrooms have also been refreshed, with a huge chocolate colour mirror, a shower cubicle with a marble soil, and sieved lighting, to be regulated according to your mood. Most of it, halls have been renovated, bedecked with gold and colours from the floor to the ceiling. Marriott Champs-Elysées the ultimate glamour address in the golden Parisian triangle.

From 400€ to 2500€ a night.
