In its 80th anniversary, the Monte Carlo Beach Hotel has offered itself a very nice gift: the collaboration of the French designer India Mahdavi. With her inimitable style, she designed a decor opened on the ocean, keeping the original spirit of the hotel and the glamor of the 20’s. The result is fresh and timeless.

The 40 rooms (14 suites included) are still spacious and wear now a broad white and cream stripe wallpaper, which is found elsewhere in thinner version on the benches and sofas in the public areas. The designer hoped that « the sea becomes a kind of main character in the story ».

The rooms are conceived as sensual poems dedicated to the sea. The bathrooms, all white, are dressed like beautiful girls, china craft of Salerno (Provence) and overlooking the room through a porthole liner. We like the rounded lines of the corridors where it feels like to walk on the waves. The hotel is not yet very far from the sea …
