The general manager of Clos Médicis (Paris 6th arrondissement) is a man in the image of his hotel, or perhaps is it the opposite, since the osmosis between the place and the manager is perfect. Located close to the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Clos Medicis is a discreet place that passersby do not notice as the façade still does not resemble that of a hotel. The simple warm, unpretentious comfort makes it a boutique hotel awfully nice that owes much to the delight of his communicative director.

Hotel manager for fifteen years

Olivier Méallet was present at the opening of Clos Medicis in 1994. Shortly before his meeting with the Director of the Villa Maillot Pascal Beherec, was decisive. He joined the staff of Hotel de Neuville and followed along the proposed acquisition of a second hotel. For two years, he was divided between two hotels and then was dedicated entirely to Clos Medicis. In June 2008, the new owner, Mrs. Vouzelaud gave him all her trust.

Parisian at heart

The Clos Medicis is first of all a chic and relaxed atmosphere as evidenced by the beautiful contemporary lounge with its fireplace, its rustic furniture, beautifully made fun of by the photographs of wild animals that adorn the walls. A man of taste, Olivier Méallet enjoys sharing his addresses around the hotel and offers his knowledge of the capital to guide his clients to themed walks. He does not hesitate to advise clients on the best times to enjoy the best of the art of living at the hotel. Have a tea by the fireplace, read books and discuss with the team in winter, enjoy breakfast served in the interior patio to enjoy the pleasure of being in the heart of Paris … in a garden!
