• 26 Sep, 2008 • Catégorie: Let's talk about it •Paris is enriched with a new boutique hotel, a house contemporary, stylish and discreet, located rue Godot de Mauroy, halfway between the Galeries Lafayette and the Place de la Madeleine. The inauguration of Relais Madeleine next Tuesday is an opportunity to discover the passion of its director.

In the 60s, Paul Bogaert is a young autograph hunter in the district of Olympia. 40 years later, he opened the Relais Madeleine 200 meters from the famous music-hall. To demonstrate the artistic ferment of the time, Paul Bogaert exhibits for the first time his priceless collection.

The collection of Paul Bogaert gathers no less than 400 original autographs, collected from 1964 to 1968 with the biggest names in rockn’roll of the time. Unique! Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, James Brown, the Rolling Stones, Marianne Faithfull, PJ Proby, the Relais Madeleine transforms some of its public rooms into a museum. A nod to the rock spirit.
