Since 2005, the Hôtels de Paris Rive Gauche label organizes a photography prize to support contemporary creation. The concept of the event is simple: each month, Alain Bisotti, the artistic director of the project, offers a young photographer the chance to spend a night in one of the hotels of Paris Rive Gauche. Following this stay, a photo accompanied by a text and an introduction of the artist are displayed on the contest’s online gallery. The entrants may earn a 3000€ reward. 12 photos will be presented to the public from September 2nd  2010 until September 19th at the Théâtre de l’Odéon. A public preview will also take place on September 2nd.
Furthermore, Alain Bisotti gives each year a free hand to an artist whose works will be presented during this preview. For 2010, Patrick Tournebœuf, famous for his series called “Monumentale”, will have the place of honor.
