Pure sensuality for the renovation of Hotel Ares Eiffel
• 18 Dec, 2008 • Catégorie: Design & Co •With its early 20th century Haussmannian facade, Hotel Ares Eiffel located five minutes from the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower, just had the rooms and the public areas redecorated. For the occasion, no renowned designer, but taste and Parisian daring. Playing on the subtle baroque and contemporary trend, the hotel Arès Eiffel does not forget the Italian roots of the owners.

Upon the lobby, sensuality is exacerbated, with a padded brown leather reception desk and a Thousand and One Night Baccarat chandelier. The black and white mosaic floor is the only original part of the building. After the reception, the Hotel Arès Eiffel offers two very different atmospheres: sleek design in the white living room, more traditional atmosphere in the English lounge. The elegant rooms are a reminiscence of Parisian haute couture, with red velvet blue-grey and emerald green or golden beige skin top-of-bed.

All rooms are equipped with flat screen televisions Bang & Olufsen. The furniture is signed Poltrona Fran, the famous Italian brand, and the tiling bathrooms are Versace’s. On the top floor of the hotel Arès Eiffel, the two suites have views on the Eiffel Tower, and the glittering show at night. To have breakfast, the room for this purpose gathers white flower-shaped sculptures by the artist Catherine Fiocconi, which are in hotel’s corridors. The floor is composed of black marble inlaid with silver floral motifs. So chic.

Rates: 250 € the classic double room. 450 € the junior suite.
