King Louis XIII of France commissioned a jeu de paume to be built here.
Jeu de Paume is a game that was century old precursor of tennis and also the name of the place where it was played. The long, high halls of the courts are now used for receiving guests of the “Jeu de Paume hotel”.

The beam ceiling is low in the front where reception is located and a cosy little lounge with a bar is set up ere, from there the view wanders to the back, past the glass panoramic elevator, into the loft… I let you imagine the rest of the place.
