Sadaharu Aoki: Japanese pastry to look at…
• 29 Oct, 2009 • Catégorie: Gourmet •… and to eat! Trained at two pastry schools, French and Japanese Sadaharu Aoki has managed to renew the traditional opera and mille-feuilles with ingredients from the land of the Rising Sun. For a improvised tea-time, stop at Lafayette Gourmet and choose first with the eyes. Opera subtly flavored with green tea or chocolate dome resting on a cookie with hazelnuts and ginger mousse. I look forward to the galette des Rois, this outstanding pastry!

Address recommended by Peter Noecker, the Hotel Edouard VII (Paris 2nd arrondissement).
