Samurai are unmasked at quai Branly
• 10 Jan, 2012 • Catégorie: Culture, Parisian moments •Most of people knows samurai through Hollywood stories and films only. And they could easily being associated to old Asian myths and legends. Thanks to the quai Branly exhibition, we learn what role these noble warriors had been played during 9 centuries in the ancient Japan before disappearing in the modern Japan. 140 object enrich this retrospective, some suits of armor, helmets, blades and horse trappings. A unique occasion not to be missed for all budding samurai.
