Sanderson Hotel: a full spirit London palace

In the heart of city of Westminster, the Sanderson mixes styles and boldness to embody a new English luxury hotel: a real sophisticated blend between humor and irony, just like the French designer Philippe Starck who, at the top of its form, designed this place. Modern, Sanderson has an undeniable power of attraction and seduction. A destructive sex-appeal, with a fanciful atmosphere and a futuristic environment, here is a 5 star that will throw you off the scent.

In the lobby, white and spacious, the place looks as if it sparks! And yellow, blue, red and green colour reminds us of the walls at Villa Santo Sospir painted by Jean Cocteau, in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Here, it is just like the paintings, but here, from light and real life. Extravagance mixed with pure simplicity that our dear French poet would surely appreciate. The rooms play on the space: No inner wall separate the bed from the bathroom, only at your disposition, a transparent or opaque curtain (it’s up to you to decide if you want to use it or not), to preserve your privacy.

A symphony which continues to the common areas, like the Purple Bar, everything is in contrast, materials are shades of lavender, purple and violet. The bar looks like a meteorite fell from the sky. Another hotel bar, Long Bar, is in onyx. We go there to enjoy a nice plate of mezze, before joining the billiard room. Baroque billiard of course, with purple carpet, armchair antler wall made of stained glass by John Piper, renowned artist. This room without a doubt is an artwork … a modern artwork, of course!

Rates: from 600 to 990 € per night and € 3000 for the Penthouse.
