Al Pacino aka Tony Montana, Cuban immigrant seeking the American dream has shot cult scenes in two hotels in Miami. The first in the Carlyle Hotel on Ocean Drive where he attempted to buy cocaine from a dealer who tries to pass him. A scene that ends in a real slaughter in one of the rooms of the hotel, but Tony was unhurt… Another scene: the pool of the Fontainebleau Suites in Miami Beach, Tony Montana and his friend Manny: « Want to have some ice cream with my friend and me? » Trying to flirt resulting in a crushing defeat, but one that fits in the pantheon of cinema. Go figure!
