The Hermitage Gantois: stay in the Ch’ti country

Dany Boon and his team of the film “Bienvenue chez les ch’ti” were right on selecting the Hermitage Gantois hotel for their press conference. This hotel, located in the heart of Lille, is a former almshouse of the fifteenth century, a historical monument. Recently renovated, this museum hotel setting decorated blending the contemporary design of the past and has shows the best historical architecture of Lille.

Upon entering the hotel, time stops under the immense glass roof that welcomes its visitors. Spectacular view, you will then be absorbed by the intensity of the light and the decoration, a perfect mix of design furniture and ancient statues. You will then dream only of one thing, set yourself on a blue-sky sofa, with the head on the clouds. Here, silence is necessary. An austerity demanded by the hotel, but paradoxically well abides by the visitors.

For your stay, choose the historic part of the hotel which is called the “Community” where the rooms and the suites have been converted from the old cells sisters. The Furniture, designed in brushed aluminum and Starck chairs alongside with antique chair of Louis XV style. The bathrooms are tiled with ceramics, covered with black light paint. A magnificent 4 star luxury hotel show for you to discover a wonderful and lively city.

Rates: € 210 Tradition Room, 280 € Privilege Room, and 450 € Prestige Room. Breakfast at 19€.
