The Plaza Athenee Paris and Hoosta rewarded for the Hospitality Awards 2009
• 2 Dec, 2009 • Catégorie: Paris : what's hot? •They were only 10 out of 700 hotel candidates to be honored this Wednesday, November 25th at the prestigious Hospitality Awards ceremony. Among the initiatives identified this year by professionals in the hospitality and tourism, the travel blog dedicated to children of guests at the Plaza Athénée Paris, designed by Hoosta Web Agency, has impressed and has received the award for Best CRM Program / Quality Control.

The completion of this blog called VIC (Very Important Children) asked Hoosta over one year of work to adapt the functionality of Web 2.0 to the requirements of the Parisian palace, in terms of design, usability and content. The principle is simple: every child about to stay with their parents at the Plaza Athénée Paris receives a login and password allowing access to the blog VIC. He can then prepare his stay in the capital, become familiar with the hotel but also with Parisian life, thanks to a mailing list of activities and ultra-chic addresses for their age (4-10 and 11 -15).

Among the many useful topics of the blog, Vic offers a Travel Box with weather, dictionary, currency converter and jetlag. The blog also focuses on environmental and environmental commitment in the Eco-friendly category. Our favorite category is What’s Up? which allows smaller discoveries that appeals to young Parisians and greater awareness of the dress code being in college! The restricted access to the blog (you must stay at the Plaza Athénée Paris to access certain informations) is among the reasons which led the jury Hospitality Awards 2009 to award Vic as one of the best e-marketing ideas of the year .
