The Web 2.0 and online direct booking explained to Paris hotels

That was the topic addressed by Hoosta and Bookassist on Thursday, November 26th. 60 Parisian hoteliers gathered at the Embassy of Ireland to discuss this essential issuefor the future of modern hotels.

The start of this meeting was given by the Ambassador of Ireland in Paris, Paul Kavanagh and Karen Hallez, representative of Enterprise Ireland, which are happy to see that Franco-Irish close-up between the two organizing companies.

Hosted by Pascal Gauthier, Director of Bookassist France, the stakeholders – Des O’Mahony, co-founder and CEO of Bookassist, Yahya Fetchati, Head of Operations at Bookassist and Orso Filippi, Chairman of Hoosta were used to convince their audience of the importance of a controlled Internet strategy from A to Z by the hoteliers themselves to exist on the canvas and gain independence from large central reservation and save on distribution costs.
