Urban hotel: Spanish design

• 21 Nov, 2008 • Catégorie: One hotel a day, Spain

As its name suggests, the Hotel Urban is a resolutely urban hotel, which plays on the warm textures, the cosiness and the design works of art. Located close to the Congress of Deputies, the heart of political life in Madrid, the Hotel Urban is an oasis of coolness for those who like luxury. 5 stars and 96 rooms, only suites and duplexes, offer the privilege to live in an audacious and out of time place.

The decor plays on the dark wood and leather, mixed to a lightweight lighting. The black and brown colors, rather masculine, are proof of sensuality through the roundness of furniture, which gives a very cozy and trendy atmosphere. Everything necessary to warm your heart up during the winter.

The most that caught our attention: the Late Breakfast, buffet breakfast served until 1pm for the late risers! The Urban Hotel has its own restaurant, Europa Deco that serves Mediterranean avant-garde and tasty cuisine (tartare of red tuna, caviar or sashimi). To have a drink without leaving the hotel, the Glass Bar is furiously attractive with its transparent chairs Ghost and its spider chandeliers.

Rates: from 175 € to 240 € for one night.
