Opened on January 2009, the luxury eco-resort created by Wilbert Das is the new earthly paradise of globe-trotters in search of inner peace. Located in Brazil, in Bahia State, Uxua Casa Hotel could give your tireless quest tourism a golden opportunity to excel.

“I started the Uxua project as a tribute to Bahia, its scenery and its colorful villages and the warmth that emanates from its people,” says Wilbert Das. We are on the Brazilian coast, in a small fishing village, 700 kilometers from Salvador de Bahia and 1000 kilometers from Rio de Janeiro. In the sea, an old fishing boat serves as a reception lounge, while the homes of these men from the seventeenth century have been transformed to accommodate visitors in a spirit of freedom and openness on the environment. Wilbert Das built his house with the help of locals, according to ancient techniques, using recycled materials that make the hotel an ecological model. The outdoor shower in a hollowed tree trunk and the pool fully clothed in green quartz light sequined reflect the mix of authenticity and sophistication designed by Das. But the man is also a modern urban nomad. You can take your iPod without hesitation and your laptop, all rooms are equipped with iPod docks and free WiFi.
