Young Nicolas: the youngster is back!
• 4 Jun, 2009 • Catégorie: Culture •A 7 year old schoolboy with black hair, does that bring back any memories? Young Nicolas of course! The unruly and timeless little character was invented in the sixties and his stories were imagined by René Goscinny. They were then put in about twenty books. The boy’s second father, Jean-Jacques Sempé, had taken care of all the drawings of Nicolas and his entourage. Indeed, what would Nicolas be without his parents, his best friend or his teacher? The evolution of this tale is exposed at the Hôtel de Ville, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the young boy. An event not to be missed by the nostalgic of primary school. Relive your childhood!
Address recommended by Nathalie Heckel, Hotel du Jeu de Paume (Paris 4th arrondissement).
